All the proceeds of the evening will be donated to the Teenage Cancer Trust and will be used to provide equipment that Harry and Hayley think would be most appreciated by teenagers at Jimmy’s at Leeds. Harry and Hayley are two students from South Holderness, currently undergoing treatment for cancer. Their illnesses have been very motivating for their friends.
One of our limited edition strips was modelled by student, Christopher Toyon. He looked great and very proud to be wearing it.

The outfit was next worn by Linda Benstead, one of Sheila’s friends, who competed in the Beverley 10km run. Linda’s sponsorship was donated to the Teenage Cancer Trust (TCT ) through Rugby Tackling Teenage Cancer.
These two events gave us the idea that it could be used by anyone taking part in a sponsored event to raise money for the TCT.
We would ask that if this involved a sponsored swim, it should be rinsed afterwards to avoid chlorine damage! (What brilliant publicity.)
‘The special Hull FC kit – What brilliant publicity!
The special strip, which was worn at the Doncaster game, was produced by ISC, the Australian company which supplies the merchandice for Hull FC. They were so impressed by Rugby Tackling Teenage Cancer that they produced this for no charge.
These two events gave us the idea that the special Hull FC kit could be used by anyone in the area taking part in a sponsored event to raise money for the TCT, or by high profile individuals (famous people), who can help to raise the profile of RTTC and TCT. We hope people will take the idea on board but we would ask that if this involved a sponsored swim, it should be rinsed afterwards to avoid chlorine damage!

We would like “eventers” to have photos taken so that we can put together an album and on this website. When the strip is old and threadbare and has raised thousands of pounds for the TCT, we would love to present the album to the company, as a quirky memento of our appreciation of their generosity.
As always – ideas are welcome. Please contact us if you can make use of the kit with your fundraising.
